And it appears the couple may have left early after the socialite was left in tears.

Dressed in designer threads at Flemington Racecourse, Sofia looked emotional during what looked like a tense exchange with the father-of-three.

It was Derby Day at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on Saturday. The star-studded affair saw Sofia Richie in attendance, dressed to the nines in a Zimmermann dress.
Her stunning number hails from the brand’s spring/summer 2019 collection and features patterned cut outs, blouson sleeves and a ruffle skirt, which work in unison to create a real statement.
She let her dress do the talking by simply adding black accessories and delicate jewellery.

Following their brief appearance at Derby Day on Saturday, the couple were equally stone-faced as they caught a flight out of Melbourne International airport on Sunday.

The expected departure seemed to contradict reports Scott and Sofia were staying on for the Melbourne Cup in Tuesday.
