It's Sir MICK Jagger - but not for services to women

MICK Jagger is to be given a knighthood.
The rocker with seven kids by four women is honoured for services to music - NOT to women.

The 58-year-old Rolling Stone
was put forward for his knighthood by Prime Minister Tony Blair, one of his biggest fans.
Mick will be told to "Arise Sir Michael" by the Queen at Buckingham Palace—joining Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John and Sir Cliff Richard at the top of the pops honours list.
It is thought Mr Blair's admiration of Mick swung it in his favour after many years of resistance from the Establishment because of his wild lifestyle.
During Mr Blair's student days at Oxford, he played Stones classics including "Honky Tonk Woman" and "Brown Sugar" with his band Ugly Rumours.
Sources confirmed Jagger is now on the shortlist of nominees given gongs in the Queen's Birthday and New Year Honours lists.
Jagger has been hoping to be made a Sir for some time.
Earlier this year he claimed Prince Charles was shocked to discover he had never received an award— not even an MBE or OBE
The visit to the Palace will be a happy one for Mick. He was invited to play at last weekend's Jubillee concert but had to refuse because of tour commitments.
