PICTURE EXCLUSIVE: Haynes car manual for a 1978 to 2004 model 32b to 32ff soft top
IT'S enough to blow an AA man's gasket—Peter Andre giving his drop-top Jordan a quick roadside service.
But with our DIY guide, as pioneered by world-famous Haynes car manuals, pop star Peter was doing it by the book.
For the Jordan GT (Great T**s!) can be a handful. It's the souped-up model, remember—tweaked from its original 32B spec to a massive 32FF.
But when our snapper spotted the pair out in the Sussex countryside eager Pete, 31, was on the job already, specialist tool to hand and fiddling with the twin thrust units.
Although not all Jordan parts can be accessed by the layman, our simple service guide tells how far you dare go with clutch control, nipple greasing and other high-risk manoeuvres.
A motor expert told us: "At 26 years old this Jordan's been around the block.
"But the bodywork's in perfect shape—although the odd touch-up here and there does no harm.
"Looked after properly she still handles well—and with the top down obviously goes like the wind.
"OK they're not cheap to run but you get lots of smiles to the gallon. When it comes to maintenance you really do have to keep on top of it."
