Believe it or not, shampoo bottles are costing you a fortune. Having a large one up for everyone’s use can alter expected consumption especially when you have kids at home. Yup, they love to slather it on. And using too much shampoo doesn’t really do you any better.
Here’s one quick tip to avoid such unnecessary use. Use pump-type dispenserslike those use for hand soaps/sanitizers. Buy shampoo in bulk and transfer just enough into the dispenser. Now you can tell the kids to just use a certain amount (like on pump for short hair, and two pumps for long hair).
