Moment coward Harold Shipman refuses to face up to crime..

 See no evil
By Rachel Richardson
EVIL Harold Shipman turns his back on a cop who tries to show him a picture of one of his victims.

This sickening moment— never seen before—was recorded on an interview room camera as detectives quizzed the jailed monster over other pensioners they believe he killed.
The officer wan-ted to know if Shipman had murdered frail 73-year-old Lily Crossley.
But the cowardly GP hadn't even the guts to look at her picture. Instead he sat with his back to the desk—turning his head away and closing his eyes.
Shipman was already serving life for killing 15 patients. But cops believed his real toll was near 300.
And they were convinced his first three victims were Lily, Robert Lingard and Elizabeth Pearce, who all died on the same day after visits from him. But despite hours of questioning, the killer refused to face up to his crimes—or let grieving families know the truth.
The 2001 interview—filmed three years before Shipman hanged himself in his cell—clearly shows the cop's frustration as he says: "No replies are going to be given to any questions throughout this interview."
Then the officer shows the GP from Hyde, Greater Manchester, another picture in the video—to be shown in ITV1 documentary To Kill And Kill Again on Tuesday at 9pm.
He says: "Let me jog your memory—that's Elizabeth Pearce. For the benefit of the tape Dr Shipman's eyes are closed."
Three years later Shipman's eyes were closed for good when he took his grisly secrets to the grave.
