ROCK should be ready to roll at Newcastle.

ROCK WARBLER (7.15, nap) is a four-time winner at the track and is well handicapped considering his last success came off a 9lb higher mark.

He wasn’t beaten far in a better race when last seen and will be nice and fresh after a break since switching to Michael Mullineaux.

ROYAL PROSPECT (6.15 Newcastle, nb) won a Class 3 here in November and was fancied to follow up but did himself no favours when failing to settle.

He is nicely weighted and experienced Paul Mulrennan takes over.

NORTHERN SOUL (2.55 Kelso) showed a good attitude when winning at Wetherby. He is one to follow.
