As soon as we got through the door, we stripped and had sex
By Phil Taylor & Dave McGee
THE lover Hugh Grant kept secret for FOUR YEARS last night blew the lid on their steamy affair—and branded him a "two-faced cad".
Speaking for the first time about their under-cover life together, Polish beauty Kasia Komorowicz said: "I fell in love with Hugh—and he told me he wanted me to have his babies.
"He said I had the face of a little angel—but then he betrayed my loyalty in the most devilish way.
"Hugh used me to promote his film Love Actually, kissing me in front of the press—and then he just cut me out of his life.
"Now I want to tell the world about the heartache he caused me—so people know what he's really like."
IT consultant Kasia, 30, revealed how she was swept off her feet by the dapper Love Actually rat as he was getting over his split from long-time girlfriend Liz Hurley.
Grant, 44, played the courteous Englishman of his movie roles as he began dating her—until the first night she took him back to her one-bedroom flat.
"As soon as we got through the door he held me in his arms and gave me an incredible, passionate kiss," she says.
"We were so excited we stripped and instantly made love right there in the living room.
"He is a very experienced lover, has plenty of energy and more than satisfied me. It was a mixture of raw sex and making love.
"Afterwards I felt overwhelmed and was literally shaking. Lying beside me Hugh sighed, ‘Honey, you've got beautiful legs, beautiful hair and the best body I've ever seen.'
"Then he gazed at my behind and said, ‘Look at that! You have got the best bottom in the world!'"
It was the breathtaking start of a rollercoaster on-off relationship in which Kasia agreed to stick to Grant's insistence that they keep their affair under wraps.
He told her it was to protect her from the limelight—and she went along with it, meeting him for sex sessions at her small west London flat.
"Hugh would turn up in a baseball cap so no one would recognise him," she said. "We would regularly make love but he would never stay the night.
"I wanted him to stay but he wouldn't."
Kasia never appeared in public with him until he invited her to the premiere of his latest movie, Love Actually, last November—where he startled her by grabbing her in front of the cameras and kissing her.
"I didn't see him until the after-show party in the In and Out club in London. He was talking to people and I didn't want to bother him so I mingled," says Kasia.
"But he then came over to me from behind, grabbed me, and started kissing me for what seemed like 10 minutes. When I opened my eyes, everyone was watching and I told Hugh, ‘I've got to go'.
"Then people came up to me and said: ‘Do you know him?' That was the first anyone knew about our relationship."
A stunned Kasia continued to jump through hoops for him—insisting in an interview afterwards they were nothing more than friends. But her hopes of lasting love were soon to be dashed.
The brainy beauty, who used to work for the International Trade Centre in Geneva, found this was one deal she couldn't close.
"I discovered that Hugh had just used me for a cheap publicity stunt at the film premiere before cutting me out of his life," she says.
"He is a lost soul who says he wants to find love and is desperate to start a family but he cannot commit himself to anyone."
Yet it all looked so hopeful in the early days of their secret romance. The foppish star, who shot to international stardom in British comedy Four Weddings And A Funeral, met Kasia at London nightclub 57 Jermyn Street in 2000 when he gatecrashed her birthday party.
Kasia—then working as a financial analyst—says: "I held the party in a private area when Hugh strolled in with a film director friend called John.
"One of my friends nudged me and said: ‘Look! It's Hugh Grant!'
"He was wearing jeans and an open-neck shirt. I had seen him in Four Weddings And A Funeral but I wasn't starstruck.
"In fact I thought he was being rather obnoxious, gatecrashing my bash, and I told him so.
"I went up to him and said ‘I'm sorry, this is a private party. It's my birthday'. He said, ‘Oh, happy birthday.'
"Then he looked at me with his big blue eyes and, in that cute English accent of his, he said, ‘Would you mind if I had a quiet drink here with my friend so no one can bother me?'
"Hugh had such an aura about him I said ‘Sure' and gave him a glass of champagne. He gave me a lovely smile but I turned away and went back to the party.
"Near the end of the evening John came up and asked if he could have my mobile phone number—and whether he could give it to Hugh too.
"I agreed." Three days later John called Kasia and invited her to dinner with him and Hugh. She felt a little wary.
"I asked him if Hugh was still going out with Liz Hurley. He said they hadn't been in a sexual relationship for a long time.
"I must say I was flattered and took a blonde girlfriend along to make up a foursome."
They went to a restaurant in Soho and then on to a Chelsea club where Kasia had her first dance with Hugh.
"He's not the best dancer. As we danced cheek to cheek, he seemed self-conscious. People were staring at him," she says.
"Afterwards we all went back to my flat. Hugh followed me into the kitchen to get some drinks. He gave me a passionate kiss. He is such a fantastic kisser I felt butterflies.
"But I didn't want to get carried away on our first night. I said, ‘You are not going to corrupt me! Come on, let's go back to the living room.'
"He said ‘No, please don't go' and wrapped his arms around me. But I took him by the hand, led him back into the living room and told them all I was tired and had to get to bed.
"Hugh gave me another passionate kiss on the doorstep and promised, ‘I will definitely call you.'
"We went out a few times for drinks and I found his posh English accent incredibly sexy.
"He took the mickey out of my Polish accent and had me in stitches when he pulled funny faces. He told me, ‘Do you know what effect you have on me—you drive me crazy!'"
Then came that first night of passion. The couple went on to enjoy an affair that survived despite Kasia knowing Grant was seeing other girls.
"He just wanted a secret relationship. I hated it deep down," she says. "I hoped in time he would be prepared to step out with me. He didn't —until he used me at that premiere.
"I thought it was a public declaration of his true feelings for me and was thrilled. But it turned out to be the last kiss he ever gave me.
"After he thrust me in the spotlight as ‘Hugh's new girl' he wouldn't even return my calls. He's a two-faced cad."
Kasia says she never wants to see Grant again. But she reckons if he didn't find love with her after four years, he will never find it.
"Hugh has so much love in him but he's afraid of falling in love," she says. "I don't think he has ever been truly in love, not even with Liz Hurley."
