The most damning condemnation of a premier boss as told by Dwight Yorke

DWIGHT YORKE last night launched an explosive attack on Graeme Souness by insisting their relationship collapsed after the Blackburn boss nearly broke his leg with a vicious training-ground tackle.

In the most damning interview ever by a top player about a Premiership boss, Yorke lifts the lid on his turbulent Ewood Park career.
The striker is now in soccer's wilderness after being released by Rovers last week.
And Yorke, 32, rapped: "Souness came over the top of me in a tackle during training. He could have broken my leg — I have absolutely no doubts about that.
"Who knows what effect that would have had on my career.
"I was astonished when it happened.
"My leg was badly gashed, bruised and swollen and I still have the scar on my shin to show what happened."
The ex-Manchester United and Aston Villa hitman added: "After the tackle I stormed off the training ground into the physio's room where I was told I was lucky my leg had not been broken.
Respect
"I confronted the manager in the canteen afterwards and told him how I felt."
Yorke's training-ground bust-up with Souness happened in March — and the player claims their relationship never recovered.
The Trinidad and Tobago star revealed: "From that moment I just lost all respect for Souness.
"We have hardly spoken a word since — apart from the occasional ‘Good morning' if we pass each other in the corridor."
