Taking pictures of doors in London may seem like an unusual pastime but one photographer is proving that there is some truth in the saying 'don't knock it till you've tried it'.
Bella Foxwell who has an obsession with doors estimates that she has photographed around 600 of the capital's most varied entrance ways and she has become a hit on Instagram after posting her door snaps online.
The 26-year-old's vibrant snaps range from pastel-coloured entrances on cobbled streets to punchy paint choices that stand out against white Georgian homes.
Bella began growing her series, 'Doors of London', in 2015. She began photographing the entrances of people's homes that she thought stood out and then posted them on Instagram.
Within a year, this unique subject choice meant her following had grown to around 10,000 - a figure that now stands to around 50,000 - and many of her images attracting scores of comments and thousands of likes.
Bella, who lives in London but is originally from Brighton, said: 'No two streets are the same, and that means hunting for doors is - for a door-geek like myself - incredibly exciting.'
