First Aid for Bee Stings

Ever got stung by a bee?
I tell you, it hurts like mad. It’s like getting burnt by a match. So if you ever get stung, here’s some quick first aid:
  • Pull them stingers out!
True to what your grammar school science books would way, bees leave their stingers behind. So the bee practically went on a suicide mission just to piss you off. The venom sac’s also with the stinger so you’d want to pull that stinger out with a pair of tweezers.
  • Wash the area
Next up, you’d want to wash the area with soap and water. Some might recommend using water and baking soda.
  • Ice it
You can apply ice to soothe the swelling.
  • Watch out for allergies
A lot of people are allergic to bee stings. Some topical ointment can do the job for itching. But observe the sting. If it swells too much then you might be getting an allergic reaction. Check for other signs like difficulty in breathing. If you develop any of these symptoms, seek emergency assistance.
