Kate and William relive the epic of steam train

Kate Middleton and Prince William have discovered a locomotive of the nineteenth century, with which Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip had traveled during their visit in 1959.

At the end of the fifth day of their official visit to the region, Kate and William have traced the epic of steam trains in western Canada.Cambridge have discovered Wednesday, September 28, a locomotive of the nineteenth century, with which Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip had traveled during their visit in 1959.

Hearing the story about her grandmother, William asked to board - to the chagrin of his assistants, not really reassured to see the prince and his wife walk in steam plumes, on the thin edge of the track railway on a bridge over the lake ... it did not stop Kate and William to operate the whistle of the machine!

The couple had spent the afternoon in Carcross, small community living in the northern Yukon at the time of the gold rush. William and Kate were met by a show of First Nations Canadians. They also discovered the Montana Mountain and all the activities it offers ... In the morning, the couple attended sending the first tweet in morse code history, during a visit to an old post telegram.

George and Charlotte remains in Victoria

After two hours of flight (and 16 degrees less!), Kate and William landed Tuesday, September 27 in Whitehorse, Yukon, from British Columbia.Upon arrival, they attended a ceremony of the Cultural Center Kwanlin Dun, and a presentation of arts, music, dance, literature and traditions of Canada's First Nations.

George and Charlotte stayed with their nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo at the Government House of Victoria, and especially enjoyed a visit (discreetly) Victoria Zoo in recent days, while their parents were visiting remote areas of Canada.
