A source revealed that it was single mum Britney who called time on their relationship—because it was damaging her image.
The source told me: "Britney called Paris and said she had decided not to be seen in public with her—she said it wasn't personal."

As a result she didn't invite Britney to her Christmas party and sources say she now refers to Brit as "the animal." The pair became best friends in late November after the pop star split from hubbie KEVIN FEDERLINE.
They were pictured several nights in a row on the tiles in skimpy outfits, staggering from club to club in the early hours.
The sozzled sessions involved some embarrassing moments, including Brit flashing my snappers— when she wasn't wearing knickers.
The pair also enjoyed a sleepover and hotel heiress Paris even announced she wanted Britney to be her bridesmaid if she got married.

My source added: "Britney realised her partying was being perceived in a bad light. People began questioning her as a mother."
