From nobles who were so noble and king's with royal lineage; now everyone is a said noble, but do we feel it?
Today wouldn't you be embarrassed to be caught crossing the street in one of these no-pedal-even bikes? Or riding a horse? Of course in some places, some cultures (even some little U.S. towns) this is still common and the norm.
In some little towns you can see them riding their horse, or with their little buggy or pedal car, still as happy as they please. It would be ridiculous to say anything has really gone out of style or that we are all now one style, one erra, all the changes in style are still going on as we sort through the feelings that went to create them in the first place; the troubles, inconveniences (such as fuel) and beauty that started them all.
Lots of places women (and men) keep their strange cultures, such as weird clothing and funky dances and music styles. Look at Mexican Pointy Boots, a woman won't even dance with a man unless he's wearing them;) And they said bellbottoms and long skirts were inconvenient!
And barely has a muscial instrument ever gone out of style, nor has a form of poetry or artwork. It is all loved and excepted by the diverse people of the nations.

Women
Beautiful In Art and Remembered By Love
Whether for our men or for our culture, women have brought about the most change in fashions. Of course it was a prince who designed the high-heel and men who designed the dress, but women have created the diversity, have beautified it all.
We've sown the men's shirts, stitched with gold the king's, we've laboured and sorrowed and pained in every imaginable evil device to please our men-folk. And did it work? At the time, yes, but look now today...if you were caught wearing a short skirt or even a veil or showing your ankles, you were treated as if you were a hooker back then. Now those are the styles of beauty. From full-figured to corsetted and feet-tortured, bonneted and trapped, to tanned and beautiful hardworking people, we've still made it and we're still pleasing our men. Just being ourselves and not letting them get away with treating us any way other then gentlemenly.
They still love us and they'll still paint us if they want us enough;)

Forever Beautiful
Showcasing Talent, Beauty, and Human Emotions
What makes us remember things is the feeling, each expression captured in artwork was a feeling of the time, the erra. Whether an erra of grief, loneliness, sadness, war, or heartbreak, the woman's gentle countenance portrays it with a strength and courage we can only long for. Isn't it sad though, that they were so sad? And yet the most beautiful and prised among art and culture.
