A STUNNING young dancer revealed last night how TV star Chris Evans wooed her into bed—but couldn't stop talking about his lost missus Billie Piper.

Fun-loving Nikki Sharpe, told us: "After a five-week fling and lovely romantic sex I was actually falling for Chris—but still he was constantly ringing his ex.

"And when he wasn't chatting TO her on the phone he was talking ABOUT her to me.

"It was so obvious he still has a soft spot for Billie. He hasn't got over her and is using other girls—plus masses of booze and pub crawls—as a way out.

"I've never seen anyone drink as much as Chris."

Nikki met tycoon Chris— who split with Dr Who star Billie last year—in January, working on his new Channel 4 programme 18 Stone Of Idiot, starring Johnny Vegas.

"But it turns out I WAS the idiot," said Nikki sadly.

Now prouducer Chris, 38, is dating one of his production workers on the show, Amy Hargreaves.

But 20-year-old Nikki said: "I'd warn girls to be careful of him. Amy is lovely but Chris isn't ready for a relationship."

Chris first chatted Nikki up at their aftershow party.

"He looked a bit scruffy and admitted he'd been on a three-day bender," she recalled. "But he obviously didn't want to stop drinking and invited me and my friend to the Groucho Club.

"We had a wild time. He was buying £70 bottles of white wine. I felt comfortable with him. He was just like an ordinary person."

The couple, right, went on to another bar and at 5am returned to the Grouch—where Chris made his move.

"He was staying at the club that night because he was so plastered," said Nikki. "He couldn't walk properly and I was helping him stand. He asked if I wanted to stay too and said he'd get me a separate room. So I said yes.

"I could tell he fancied me. But when he then asked if he could share with me I laughed and told him I was a lady so the answer was no! He was very sweet about it, though—not pushy or horrible."

Hard-drinking Chris only had one idea for the following day—another pub crawl round celebrity haunts near his home in Hampstead, north London.

"He went on a lot about Billie that day," said Nikki. "It was obvious that he still had feelings."

In a 10-hour session Chris downed eight pints of beer, a bottle of wine and eight sambuca shots. Then he took Nikki to bed.

"We went back to his place about 8pm and made love," she told us. "We were both really drunk and giggling but I had a fantastic time. Chris was great. He made me feel special and he kept asking me if I was OK.

"Afterwards we cuddled up to each other all night in his big bed. I thought he really cared."

Next morning Chris drove Nikki to Kings Cross to catch a train back to her home in Lincolnshire.

"There was no embarrassment," she said. "In fact Chris told me he thought the sex had been great."

That night Chris rang to check she got home safely and they agreed to meet again next weekend.

At LWT studios the following Saturday Chris made a beeline for Nikki. "Chris was up for a wild time again and we went drinking till 7am," she said.

After taking Nikki to rehearsals for The Brits and an interview at Radio 1 Chris whisked her off—to the pub again.

Gutted

"We went to The Hill opposite his home until closing," she said.

"Back at Chris's we went to bed but didn't make love. It was all huggy and feely. I didn't mind —Chris prefers cuddles to sex.

"Next day we had a smashing time walking in the park and enjoyed another night cuddled up. I was really falling and went home looking forward to next weekend.

"But Chris didn't turn up to the next party. And he didn't ring to say why.

"Later I read he'd gone drinking instead. When I eventually saw him he didn't even acknowledge me. I was gutted.

"I don't know why he lost interest. He obviously doesn't want a relationship and should have said so before getting involved.

"Until he gets over Billie there's no point any girl trying to get close."
