TOP jockey Kieren Fallon was at the centre of a fresh controversy last night when a pretty trainer claimed she is having his baby.
Blonde Sam Wallin (right) has told friends she's five-and-a-half months pregnant with the champion jockey's child—and says married Fallon is "over the moon" at the news.
Sam, 39, confided in pals when her "bump" began to show, saying they'd been seeing each other for three years. She told one: "I think the world of him and I know Kieren will stand by me through this."
But last night Fallon, also 39, denied the claim. He was flying out to Canada after racing at Doncaster, but said through his lawyer, Christopher Stewart-Moore: "It's complete rubbish."
Fallon has been married to wife Julie for 11 years and lives in Newmarket with her and their three children—daughter Natalie, 10 and four-year-old twins Cieren and Brittany.
Romance
Earlier this week he missed two days racing. He failed to appear at Musselburgh, Scotland, on Sunday after missing his flight. And on Monday he missed seven booked rides at Pontefract after it was said he had a "flu-like bug".
Sam—who works as an assistant trainer with Fallon's friend, Mark Wallace—has left her modest terraced house in Newmarket. She was at her mother's home in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, yesterday but refused to comment.
However, earlier she told friends: "I see him a few times a week and he is over the moon that we're going to have a child together. But there are obviously complications because he is married.
"His wife knows about me but Kieren is still loyal to her."
One pal added: "Sam is amazed nobody has ever cottoned on to the fact that they were together. Kieren is one of her heroes and the two of them have a close bond together with their love of racing."
Sam hit the headlines 10 years ago after it was revealed she'd had an affair with another top jockey, former Grand National winner Richard Dunwoody. He dumped his wife Carol for her, but the romance fizzled out.
The latest controversy is one of many to surround six-times champion jockey Fallon. He is currently on police bail after being arrested last month along with 16 others in a race-fixing inquiry. He denies any wrongdoing.
Last year he admitted a drink problem and spent a month in a clinic—and in 1999 was sacked as stable jockey to leading trainer Henry Cecil.
In 1994 Fallon was banned from racing for six months after pulling another jockey from his horse.
