Beauty shines as her oldshow RI:SE takes a fall

Gorgeous Kirsty Gallacher was all at sea this week...a bit like her old TV station's doomed breakfast show RI:SE.

But while C4's relaunched programme was being trounced in the ratings, Kirsty—who quit in December—was pulling in plenty of viewers as she partied in a Burberry bikini in Barbados.

The shapely Scots babe, who hosts Kirsty's Home Videos on Sky One, was celebrating her 27th birthday. And after checking into a luxury hotel, she wasted no time in making waves on the beach in her tartan two-piece.

It was all a sunny contrast to last December, when it was reported that she and her RI:SE co-stars, Chris Rogers and Liz Bonin, had been sacked.

Furious Kirsty exclusively told the News of the World at the time: "I wasn't sacked, I quit! And I'm very angry at the way everyone has been treated."

The sports-mad star—daughter of golf legend Bernard Gallacher —also admitted: "Getting up at 4.30am messes up your body clock."

But, as our exclusive snaps show, while the clock may be wrong, the body is spot on.

Sadly for Kirsty her boyfriend, international rugby star Paul Sampson, 25, couldn't make it to the birthday bash, so she took her parents instead.

The Wasps winger needed reconstructive surgery on his left knee after it was badly injured in an England game last month.

A close pal said: "It was a real blow for Paul. His knee is still in a brace after his op and he's concentrating on getting himself fit, so a holiday was not part of the equation.

"He's had to stay at home and look after their dog Arthur."
