LOVE rat England star David James' cheated wife last night revealed the final humiliating moment she knew their 13-year marriage was doomed.
Mum-of-four Tanya told us: "David was raging and spat in my face—then he said, ‘You're a parasite!'"
The shamed goalkeeper lost his rag after realising Tanya had finally uncovered undeniable proof of his sleazy Friends Reunited fling with old flame Amanda Salmon—finding porno photo messages on his mobile phone.
Tanya spoke out about her multi-million pound marriage bust-up for the first time to tell how:
BAILIFFS this week staged a dawn raid to snatch her car to cover unpaid bills,
CHEATING David failed to pay his kids' school fees while buying his mistress new boobs, and
DIVORCE wrangles have left her so strapped for ready cash she fears every knock at the door is a debt collector.
The latest drama in the James divorce fight sensationally spilled into the street this week—when cops were called as bailiffs tried to seize Tanya's car.
It was 6am when the debt squad arrived at her £2million home demanding £1,300 in unpaid fines addressed to her cheating husband.
She told us: "When I explained I couldn't do anything until the bank opened at nine they said they'd get a tow-truck and snatch our Chrysler people carrier instead!
"I was furious. So as they were chaining up the wheels I left my four children asleep indoors and rushed out barefoot in my pyjamas to confront them. I jumped in the car and refused to budge. But they boxed me in with three vehicles so I couldn't drive away. I knew they meant business.
"I said, ‘If you take my car you'll have to take me with it!' There was no way I was going to let them do it."
Then THREE police cars swooped in a bid to sort the 2-hour stand-off in London's posh Hampstead suburb.
"It was like a siege scene from The Bill," said determined Tanya, 35. Eventually the problem was resolved when a friend settled the bill by credit card.
But last night Tanya was still fuming as she poured out her heart. "This is no way to live," she said. "My life has turned into the TV show Footballers' Wives.
Mayhem
"That mayhem in the street was the ultimate disgrace. I've gone from riches to watching every single penny that I spend—and now fending off bailiffs. I'm worried every time there's a knock at the door."
In fact ANOTHER set of debt collectors arrived on Wednesday demanding cash for unpaid water rates. Although the James assets—including SEVEN homes—are worth around £6million, the divorce wrangle has left their finances in chaos and Tanya struggling for ready cash.
While she is holding out for at least half of their fortune, plus a share of 34-year-old David's future earnings, she gets a monthly allowance.
Household bills for Tanya and their children—two girls aged 15 and 11, and two boys aged 10 and five—are down to 34-year-old David. "The trouble is we have a lot of houses and there are a lot of bills," said Tanya. "Sometimes he pays, sometimes he doesn't.
"I know he's away a lot and doesn't always get his mail on time. But the whole thing is a mess.
"He's also stopped Sky TV payments, pet insurances, gym membership and some credit cards—he cancelled everything."
Tanya said the incident that enraged her most was when the £25,000-a-week Manchester City star failed to pay his children's school fees—but found time to splash out on new boobs for mistress Amanda, the schooldays sweetheart he traced and wooed on the internet.
"That was the final straw," hissed Tanya, although 33-year-old Amanda has now ditched David and returned home to Devon.
"There she was bragging how she'd had a boob job paid for by David. Meanwhile my children were ringing from school to say they were being sent home because we owed them money.
"How could David do that to our children?"
Then Tanya revealed how she first suspected her husband was playing away.
"It was my my birthday, 15th January 2003, and we were out to dinner with friends," she said. "David and I had identical mobile phones at the time and a couple of texts came up on what I thought was mine. Expecting a ‘Happy Birthday' message I opened them up and was shocked to read ‘I would love to have your warm body next to mine right now.'
"The next said, ‘Easter seems like such a long way away'. As it turned out, Easter was when David finally left us all—so he must have had it planned all along. Although David denied the txts were for him and claimed someone at the football club must have messed with his phone, I knew something was up. I later called the return number and a woman answered. It was like a knife in my heart."
But even when the News of the World exposed the fling in April, 2003, cheat James — who riled England fans by bungling and allowing Austria to draw last month — denied any romance. Then came the day she discovered the explicit photos of Amanda on David's phone.
"There were two of them — one of her bottom and a front shot of her in a G-string," said Tanya. "I felt disgusted. Disgusted at the pictures and disgusted he could go for a woman like that.
"I hid the phone and when David asked about it I told him I'd thrown it away. In a temper he chased me out on to the street, calling me names and shouting. He tried to grab me and I fell but I managed to get in my car and lock the door.
Revenge
"Then he started tapping on the glass saying, ‘Tanya, I just want to talk to you.' So I opened the window...and that's when he literally spat out at me. He did it again and again — and at first I just sat there taking it. But then I flipped.
"I started the car, revved up the engine and drove it into his prized BMW M3 on the drive. I put my foot down, rammed it, then reversed and rammed it again and again. Enough was enough. This was revenge. There was no way I'd ever get back with him. That was the day I finally snapped.
"Now I want the world to know the truth about my husband," added Tanya. "He's no longer the man I loved and married. He's let everyone down, especially himself. We're at war and the gloves are off.
"He was always a generous man during our marriage but now he's a Scrooge. And the ones suffering are our children."
