Secret sister Tracy Shaw vows never to meet

THEY look like twins, but former Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw and the kid sister she snubs are destined never to come face to face.

For the actress blames little Eli's mum for the break-up of her parents' marriage and refuses even to discuss the five-year-old.

Tracy's father Karl denied Eli was his until the Child Support Agency ordered him to take a DNA test which proved he was the dad.

But, as our exclusive pictures show, there's no denying the family likeness between the blue-eyed blondes.

Affair

Elizabeth Megan Karly Shaw-Robinson, who will turn six in January, is the spitting image of big sister Tracy when she was around the same age.

Eli's mum is Julie Robinson, who had a 14-year relationship with Karl while he was married to Tracy's mother Ann.

Their affair ended just a few months before Eli was born.

And Tracy, who played crimper Maxine Peacock in Corrie, has never even seen the child at the centre of her mum and dad's bitter bust-up.

Julie, 38, from Derby, told the News of the World: "Eli knows she has a famous step-sister who she's seen on Coronation Street. She knows about Karl and has met him a few times, though not for quite a while now.

"I think it's sad that Eli doesn't see more of her dad because he is fun and very loving. But I think he's frightened about upsetting Tracy.

"She should leave her father to sort himself out with his other daughter."

Temper

"Karl loves children and the door is always open for him. I'd never stop Eli seeing her dad. As far as her seeing Tracy goes, there's no chance on earth at the moment."

The girls share more than their looks and the same dad.

Julie revealed: "Eli has quite a few of Tracy's character traits. She certainly has a bit of a temper when she's angry."

Tracy, 30, is famous for her short fuse. Last year she had a furious bust-up with husband Robert Ashworth while they were on a packed holiday jet.

And earlier this year ex-boyfriend Darren Day revealed he dubbed her Queen of the Tantrums.
